Nathan’s current research interest include exploring formal & informal learning in the large ensemble classroom, individual motivation in musicking, contemporary teacher education (including effective classroom pedagogy, literature selection, conducting methods, and effective communication skills), and the opportunities for student leadership development in the music classroom.
